Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions

Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions is an independently owned 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are mainly run by volunteers who dedicate their time and resources to helping dogs and cats find their forever homes. We do not receive any funding from the city of Lago Vista, the county or the state. One hundred percent of our money comes from fundraising and donations from our supporters, not only of cash but also food, blankets, beds, treats, and other daily essentials required to keep the animals safe until a forever home is found.

Since 1997, Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions has been providing a safe haven for abandoned and abused animals. Over 3,000 animals have passed through our doors.  We were one of the first “no-kill” shelters in the area and strive to make the world a better place for all of the animals who come to us through no fault of their own.
