If you would enjoy making a difference in the lives of homeless animals, then we are the place for you! You will get plenty of exercise, have the pleasure of meeting other animal lovers, and have fun caring for dogs and cats that will shower you with love and attention because they appreciate the time, love, and energy you give them.
We are looking for dog walkers for AM and PM shifts, seven days a week. Some volunteers come in once or twice a week; others come in once or twice a month. The amount of time you give to our shelter family is entirely up to you.
What's involved: Our dogs are walked three times a day starting at 7am, 11am and 5pm. We have a secluded trail through a wooded area that leads to a dead-end gravel road. You will get to spend one-on-one time with each dog that will help them learn proper leash manners, give them some socialization opportunities to meet new people, and can maybe even teach them a few tricks to help them get adopted quicker!
All dogwalkers must be at least 18 years old. NO EXCEPTIONS.
