Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center's Circle of Security Parenting Program is a free eight-week class that helps caregivers understand their child’s need for attention is actually a need for connection with them. Parents/caregivers will learn how to be:
- Bigger — Build positive relationships by giving children the feeling of security and confidence so they can explore, learn, and grow
- Stronger — Enhance knowledge of how to strengthen the child's self-esteem
- Wiser — Learn how to set limits and understand the child's emotional world
- Kinder — Create an environment that builds a stronger relationship between caregiver and child
The classes will meet every Wednesday from October 13 to November 1, 12:00–1:30pm, at First Presbyterian Church (703 S. Church Street, Georgetown, TX 78626). All parents are welcome! Childcare and a light meal will be provided.
