Tasks will include, but not limited to, assisting with staging and/or placing event barricades, setting up tables, setting up water stations and placing signage and banners. Volunteers must be available to work the entire shift and be able to perform all duties. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. May experience down time while waiting on deliveries. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Because members of community we serve may be immunocompromised, we are asking Walk volunteers to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test results received within 72 hrs prior to event. We also ask volunteers to wear masks and are encouraging participants to wear masks when they cannot keep a proper social distance at these events. Sign up here! |
