Become a hero to a senior who can no longer drive! Volunteer drivers are needed to drive seniors in the Georgetown community to their medical appointments or help running a personal errand. This is a great opportunity to be more involved in the community and get a chance to build intergenerational relationships. Intergenerational relationships benefit both parties involved. They help grow a new appreciation for another generation, and they help boost the quality of life for seniors. So become a driver today and make a difference in a seniors life just by giving them a ride!
Volunteer orientation is held at our office twice a month. Volunteer paperwork will need to be submitted 2-3 days before the orientation you'd like to attend. Our volunteer application and more info on the orientation schedule can be found at www.faithinactiongt.org/volunteer.
