The Reset Home was built in 2018 to take in at-risk youth leaving the Juvenile Justice Center who had no other safe place to go. We've housed 2 young men between 2019 to now and we have one young man getting ready to graduate and move out on his own in October but we also have 2 more young men looking to move into the home by Christmas.
One of the beautiful things about the Reset Home is the amazing garden we have out front. However, due to COVID and the lack of serve days happening in our community, the garden has gotten a little unruly and overgrown! We are looking for volunteers who would be ok coming to the Reset Home and working outside to get the garden and yard cleaned up.
The Serve Day will be this Saturday, October 3rd from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We will have water and snacks available and will be safely social distancing outside to ensure the safety of our volunteers.
