Description

SIGN UP HERE: Project Valentine

You can help bring a smile to the face of a CC4C child by creating hand-made personalized Valentine's Day cards. You do not need to be an artist! This is an opportunity for anyone who wants to help.

Details and sign-up are available on our website but key points are:

  1. Cards should include Valentine's Day wishes only. These are NOT “get well” cards and should not reference the child’s diagnosis or medical situation.
    1. NO: "I'm sorry you're sick" "You're so brave."
    2. YES: "Happy Valentine's Day!" "I like mermaids, too!"
  2. If you make multiple cards for more than one child, please give them to us pre-sorted (ie, paper-clipped or rubber-banded together . . . a stack for Mikayla, another stack for Jonah.)
  3. Please record your volunteer time on our CC4C Volunteer Hours Form. (For our internal records.) The link: Volunteer Hours Form

We will sign proof-of-volunteering forms for volunteers who need it for school or work organizations. There is a limit of 5 hours of credit per month per volunteer for this project. If you need proof of your volunteer service, please email a photo of your cards along with a PDF of the form you need signed to aahmann@cc4c.org. Cards must be handmade. We do NOT sign verifications for court-mandated volunteer hours.
