Founded in 1949, The Arc of the Capital Area stands as one of Austin's longest-running non-profits. With the support of over 300 volunteers each year, we're able to bring our programs to life.
Every year, we empower more than 1,000 individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities like Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. Volunteering at The Arc is an opportunity to meet incredible people who exude joy and warmth. It's a chance to develop leadership skills such as initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving. Once you start, you'll find it hard to resist coming back for more! Sign up to volunteer here! https://www.arcaustin.org/volunteer-with-us/volunteer/
