Come volunteer with the Williamson County Parks Department! We will be working on projects along the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, which will include trash pick up, pruning, invasive species removal, and more. The next volunteer day will be September 24th from 9am to 11am, and our project will include opportunities to dig drainage for sections of the trail, trash pick up, and vegetation management. We will meet at the most western portion of the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, located at the Twin Lakes YMCA. The address is 204 E Little Elm Trail, Cedar Park, TX 78613. Details will be emailed to volunteers after they RSVP.
***There is a limit of 10 volunteers at this event. All volunteers are required to RSVP to the event in order to participate.***
You will need to bring:
- plenty of water
- gloves
- appropriate clothing (sturdy, close -toed shoes; clothes that can get dirty)
- hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, etc.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to attend this event unsupervised. Volunteers 12 years and older may attend with the supervision of a parent/guardian.
