Description

Come volunteer with the Williamson County Conservation Foundation! We will be working on projects, such as Moving and Spreading mulch, removing debris, clearing fence lines, removing invasive plants, and more. The next Preserve volunteer day will be on August 15th from 8am to 10am


This time around we will be doing some vegetation management at one of our farthest preserves.


***All volunteers are required to RSVP to the event in order to participate.***

 

You will need to bring:

  • plenty of water
  • gloves
  • appropriate clothing (sturdy, close -toed shoes; clothes that can get dirty, some long sleeves that you don't mind getting damaged or torn)
  • hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, etc.


Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to attend this event unsupervised. Volunteers 12 years and older may attend with the supervision of a parent/guardian.


If you are 13 years or older, you must have a Williamson County Conservation Foundation, Leave No Trace Permit. Please bring the permit with you to this event.


If you do not have a Leave No Trace Permit from the WCCF, we will be holding workshops quarterly. for people to receive these permits, you can follow and find out when the next class is Here: WCCF Leave No Trace


Our Last permit workshop was on Saturday, July 12th. Send me an e-mail if you want the date of the next workshop.

Prior to the event, it is required that all volunteers fill out a Volunteer Waiver by using the link below. We will also have hard copies for volunteers to fill out at the event.
