Come volunteer with the Williamson County Conservation Foundation! We will be working on projects, such as Moving and Spreading mulch, removing debris, clearing fence lines, removing invasives, and more. The First ever official Preserve volunteer day will be on March 20th from 9am to 11am, and our project will be hauling downed limbs and creating mulch. We will meet at the Twin Springs Preserve, and details will be emailed to those that RSVP.
*** All volunteers are required to RSVP to the event in order to participate.***
You will need to bring:
- plenty of water
- gloves
- appropriate clothing (sturdy, close -toed shoes; clothes that can get dirty)
- hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, etc.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to attend this event unsupervised. Volunteers 12 years and older may attend with the supervision of a parent/guardian.
If you are 13 years or older, you must have a Williamson County Conservation Foundation, Leave No Trace Permit. Please bring the permit with you to this event. If you do not have a Leave No Trace Permit from the WCCF, we will be holding workshops quarterly for people to receive these permits. Prior to the event, it is required that all volunteers fill out a Volunteer Waiver by using the link below. We will also have hard copies for volunteers to fill out at the event.
