Have you thought about what you will be doing for this upcoming 4th of July? Well why not help coordinate an event for our country’s Independence Day while having fun at the same time! Our founding fathers worked day and night to help give this great country our freedom so why not give back in their honor? The Volunteer Center is looking for volunteers to help out at the July 4th Frontier Days Celebration at Old Settler’s Park. We need help for this celebration from volunteers who are willing and able to perform certain duties such as vendor-check in and manning the information booth. Don’t forget to stick around at the end of the evening for the fireworks show.
If you are interested in showing your patriotism in some other way, there is no need to worry. We are also looking for volunteers to help with the 4th of July parade! Just come visit the Sign-In tent on Brown Street in Round Rock (off of Round Rock Ave.) at 7:00 am to become a parade volunteer. For more information on this event, please click on the link below or contact the Volunteer Center.
So don’t hesitate to join! Come sign up here for your chance to prove your patriotism and celebrate the 4th of July with the other members of your community. We are looking for volunteers of all ages to participate. We look forward to seeing you help us kickoff the festivities in the greatest possible way. If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to contact the Volunteer Center here.
