Who We Are
We're excited about what the future holds for the Keep Hutto Beautiful Foundation as we celebrate 10 years since the first Keep Hutto Beautiful Commission meeting took place in May 2007. In November 2016, Keep Hutto Beautiful became a separate entity from the City. Our new board of directors is a diverse and enthusiastic group of Hutto residents. We will be focusing our efforts on the renovation of the Peterson Community Garden and developing new programs and educational outreach that promotes sustainability.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is one of 406 affiliates of Keep Texas Beautiful.
What We Do
We inspire the community to be environmentally engaged by providing education, resources, green initiatives and beautification opportunities. This is achieved through current programs such as Great Hutto Cleanup, Peterson Community Garden, America Recycles Day, and National Planting Day. We look forward to increasing our programming in 2018 with a focus on Litter Prevention, Sustainability, and Beautification within the Hutto Community.
