Our hospice services include:
- Certified by Medicare.
- Licensed by the state of Texas to care for Medicare and Medicaid recipients. Additionally care is provided to those with other funding sources.
- Accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program.
What We Do
Buckner Retirement Services is one of the state’s premier non-profit organizations that specializes in excellent care for senior needs for the entire continuum of care—from independent living to assisted living to memory care to skilled nursing care and hospice care. Buckner Hospice care is provided throughout the Central Texas area.
In 2007, the board of Buckner Retirement Services, Inc. made a decision to add hospice services, and in 2008, Buckner Hospice in Austin received licensure from the State of Texas and admitted its first patients. Deemed status accreditation by Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) followed in 2009.
