Who We Are
About The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF)
The mission of The Children’s Heart Foundation is to fund the most promising research to help advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects. Founded in 1996, CHF is a national 501(C)3 non-profit with chapters and volunteers across the country. Thanks to our volunteers, CHF has directed an astounding $5 million to cutting-edge research projects within the U.S. and Canada. CHF is not affiliated with any one institution. Esteemed medical advisors from around the nation review applications for research funding and make recommendations based on quality, innovation and promise of research. Thanks to advances made through research, mortality rates have declined by 30% in the last decade. What We Do
About The Texas Chapter
This Chapter has been developed by a group of loving and dedicated moms, whose lives have been dramatically changed with the knowledge of their child and/or children’s new medical needs. We hope that with this new information, fellow parents with “heart children” will still find a sense of hope and encouragement.
We encourage family, friends and those interested in joining us in the fight to change our children’s lives can join us here at The Children’s Heart Foundation, Texas Chapter.
