Who We Are
Round Rock Helpers is a Christian based handyman program consisting of seniors helping other seniors and people with disabilities in the Round Rock community and immediate adjoining areas with minor home maintenance and repairs.
In 2018, Round Rock Helpers was recognized by the Mayor of Round Rock for Outstanding Community Service (see picture below). In the six years since its formation in 2017, Round Rock Helpers has visited 2,712 homes.
What We Do
Round Rock Helpers volunteers provide minor home maintenance and repair service with a key focus on safety issues in the home. Round Rock Helpers work sessions are scheduled Fridays between 8:30 am and noon. Typical repairs are those that can be completed in 3 hours over one or more work sessions.
There is no charge for the help that we provide. Donations are welcome to offset the cost of materials and to help others in need of minor home repairs that cannot afford to donate for their home repairs.
