Since 1986, AGE of Central Texas has helped older adults and family caregivers thrive as they navigate the realities and opportunities of aging and caregiving. Through compassionate services, trusted guidance, education, and opportunities for connection, AGE supports individuals and families across Central Texas.
Volunteers are an important part of our community. By sharing your time and talents, you help create a future where aging is a shared journey marked by connection, strength, and vitality.
What We Do
AGE serves communities across Central Texas through our headquarters in North Austin, South Austin location, Williamson County Regional Office in Georgetown, and AGE Thrive Social & Wellness Centers in South Austin and Round Rock.
Our programs include:
- AGE Thrive Social & Wellness Centers, providing exceptional daytime care, engaging activities, and individualized support for older adults with complex physical or cognitive needs
- Pathways, connecting older adults and family caregivers with resource navigation, support groups, education, and personalized care planning
- Memory Connections, offering a proactive and supportive community for people living with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage memory loss
- Health Equipment Lending Program (H.E.L.P.), providing free incontinence supplies and gently used durable medical equipment to older adults in need
- AGE Technology Learning Lab, helping older adults build digital skills, confidence, independence, and connection
Volunteer opportunities may include providing transportation, organizing health equipment and supplies, assisting with administrative projects, supporting programs and events, and sharing specialized skills. Every volunteer strengthens AGE’s ability to serve older adults and family caregivers throughout Central Texas.
