Make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship. Help support patients, caregivers, and families during a difficult time. You can bring light and happiness back into a person's life by simply holding a hand, reading a book, chatting, playing cards, watching T.V., or sitting with someone while they eat lunch.

Hours and travel are very flexible. Set your own schedule.

All Volunteers must be 18 yrs or older.

Volunteer will need to pass background check, complete in office orientation, complete online modules, and complete a TB test. 

This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and to provide a positive experience for hospice patients and their families.

We are in need of volunteers to provide companionship to hospice patients in the Highland Lakes area. Clients may receive care in their private home or in a long-term care community such as Assisted Living or Memory Care. 

Volunteer based on your schedule---1 hour a day, a week or a month!

Share your time with someone who will benefit from your companionship. Whether you read to someone, look at photos, enjoy beautiful weather, work on an art project, or just visit with them, you will feel a sense of pride knowing that you made a difference in the life of a hospice patient or their loved ones!

Do you live in the Lakeway area? Do you have an hour or 2 to spare a week? A month? There are clients receiving the gift of end-of-life care that would enjoy a companion to visit with, or maybe play cards, read a book, play a game, etc.
