Join our Hometown Halloween volunteer crew!
Hometown Halloween takes place this Friday, October 28, 2022, from 3pm-7pm in Downtown Round Rock. We are seeking your extra help throughout this fun event.
You are also welcome to volunteer with a friend, family member, or co-worker to make it even more fun.
Volunteers will be assigned to a spot where we have the greatest need and may include:
• Help at our three small carnival type of rides that will be stationed along East Main Street: maintaining lines or helping people get on and off ride
• Help give away stickers and other giveaways from a booth in Prete Plaza
• Providing extra help in the Downtowner Gallery to Round Rock Arts – giving out candy, helping staff with traffic flow into/out of the gallery
• Keeping the plaza tidy during the event
Volunteer Shifts*:
2:45p-7p
Can’t volunteer during the entire event, how about a shift?
2:45-4:45
4:30-7p
*If you are a student and can volunteer two or more hours after you’re done with school on Friday, that’s of great help! Just let us know what time you can be here! We’re happy to sign paperwork for you to get credit for your service hours.
Event takedown/cleanup:
For those able to stay past 7pm, we could also use extra help cleaning up and taking down tents/tables/etc. Thanks!
Dress for the weather! Wearing a costume is optional, but it sure is fun!
