As a Hospice Patient/Family Support Volunteer you will serve as a friend/companion to a patient and provide support to the patient and family. There is a variety of ways a Hospice Patient/Family Support Volunteer can help, for instance, reading to the patient, writing letters for the patient, playing music and singing with the patient, helping with laundry, light housekeeping, running errands or being there while the family caretaker takes a break.
