Do you love talking to people on the telephone? Would you like to be a friendly voice to a terminally ill patient and family? Then you would enjoy volunteering as a Compassionate Caller. Compassionate Calls are made weekly, every Thursday morning, to Compassus patients that are living in their home. It is a joy for a hospice patient or family member to receive a phone call from a volunteer to check in with them and see how they are doing, or to talk to their Caregiver and give a word of encouragement. Compassionate Calls also help our medical staff by asking patients/caregivers if they are in need of any supplies for the upcoming weekend. Compassionate Calls are made from our office in Round Rock.
