Description

CC4C works to enhance the quality of life for children with rare and undiagnosed medical conditions.

You can help bring a smile to the face of a CC4C child by creating hand-made personalized birthday cards.

Instructions are on the volunteer page of our website by clicking on "Uplifting Birthday Card Project" but key points are:

  1. Cards should include birthday wishes only. These are NOT “get well” cards and should not reference the child’s diagnosis or medical situation.
  2. If you make cards for more than one child, please give them to us pre-sorted (ie, paper-clipped or rubber-banded together).
  3. After you make your cards, please let us know how much time you spent making them by filling out our Volunteer Hours Form. It helps us with our annual reporting if we can show how much time volunteers share with us each year. The link is here:  Volunteer Hours Form

We will sign hours verifications hours for volunteers who need it for school or work organizations, but we do not sign for court-mandated hours. There is a limit of 5 hours of credit per month per volunteer for this project. If you need hours verified, please email a photo of your cards along with the verification form to aahmann@cc4c.org. For guidance, 6 carefully and thoughtfully created cards= 1 hour of service. We do not sign verifications for court-mandated volunteer hours.
