We got a last minute surprise from CBS Austin/Telemundo. They are hosting a telethon tomorrow at their offices in North Austin. The funds raised form the event will go to direct services being provided by The Salvation Army in the impacted areas. The Salvation Army has been on site since the day after Hurricane Florence hit. We are committed to staying until our services are no longer needed. FYI – we are still working in the areas impacted by Harvey last year.
We have a variety of shifts beginning at 6 am and going through 7 pm. We are in need of English and Spanish speaking volunteers.
