Join us in addressing one of the biggest challenges in the Greater Austin area: childhood illiteracy.
By empowering volunteers to read one-on-one with students, we support educators in helping children learn and grow. Our volunteers make an impact by reading with elementary students each week for 15 minutes per student, totaling 30 minutes. This commitment remains consistent with the same day, time, and students throughout the school year, typically from September to May.

Register as a volunteer at www.Education-Connection.org and you will be guided through a background check with the district where you wish to volunteer. The typical reading months are between September - May.
