Volunteer: Serve at The Charlie Center: Dining Room**Please sign-up through our website if you would like to serve onsite** The Charlie Center is a Navigation Center that serves the unhoused community of North Austin and surrounding areas. We are looking for volunteers to serve onsite at The Charlie Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1:15pm. What volunteers can expect to do: set-up dinning room, check-in clients to the center, serve a beautiful meal, and help our clients check their mail. We ask all volunteers to stay and help with a light clean-up of the center after all of our clients have left. Volunteer: Serve at The Charlie Center: Shower Check-in Desk**Please sign-up through our website if you would like to serve onsite**The Charlie Center is a Navigation Center that serves the unhoused community of North Austin and surrounding areas.We are looking for volunteers to serve onsite at The Charlie Center on Wednesdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm, checking clients in on the computer for the shower program. What volunteers for this shift can expect: Volunteers will be sitting outside under a cover for this shift. The volunteers will check clients in on the computer that starts the shower timer and will communicate remaining time for showers to staff. Staff will then notify clients of remaining time and clean the showers in between clients.

The Charlie Center is looking for volunteers to prepare a preset main or side dish from the comfort of their home, and deliver to The Charlie Center. Our requirements are that you follow the pre-set recipe provided, use fresh ingredients, prepare your dish in a 13x20 foil pan, bring your dish hot and ready to serve to the center between 9am and 9:15am on the day that you signed up for.
