Needs From: The Volunteer Center

Faith in Action has a medical supply closet that is located at a local church in Georgetown, TX. We are looking for a volunteer to help out on Tuesdays and Thursdays every other week. This job would be by appointment only, so you would be in contact with the person in need of an item or someone who wants to donate something. The volunteer would schedule the time to meet at the church. Training would be provided.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you lost your independence to drive and didn't have friends or family to help you meet your basic needs? Faith in Action Georgetown is a Volunteer organization that provides transportation to seniors in Georgetown, Texas. We need more drivers that have a few hours per month taking someone to a medical appointment or help with a personal errand. Extremely flexible, no minimums and very rewarding! Enjoy the company of some amazing, grateful people that have a story to share. Awesome multi-generational opportunity - training provided!

Become a hero to a senior who can no longer drive! Volunteer drivers are needed to drive seniors in the Georgetown community to their medical appointments or help running a personal errand. This is a great opportunity to be more involved in the community and get a chance to build intergenerational relationships. Intergenerational relationships benefit both parties involved.
