Come volunteer with the Williamson County Parks Department! We will be working on projects along the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, which will include trash pick up, pruning, invasive species removal, and more. Our next volunteer day will be August 27th from 9am to 11am, and our project will be removing an old barbed wire fence. There is a limit of 10 volunteers. We will meet in Champion Park at the eastern end of the parking lot. The address of Champion Park is 3830 Brushy Creek Rd, Austin, TX 78613.
You will need to bring:
- plenty of water
- gloves
- appropriate clothing (sturdy, close -toed shoes; clothes that can get dirty)
- hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, etc.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to attend this event unsupervised. Volunteers 12 years and older may attend with the supervision of a parent/guardian.
