Locally, The Volunteer Center will host approximately two events that will address needs at nonprofit organizations in Williamson County. Some of the nonprofit organizations that will benefit include Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, Drive a Senior, and the Round Rock Area Serving Center.
Family Volunteer Day is a day of service to create awareness among families and youth about community issues and opportunities to become involved. Engaging families in volunteering helps make significant contributions to the community, strengthens family values, and teaches the value of kindness to children, youth and the whole community.
