Altus Hospice of the Hills

The Mission of Altus Hospice is to provide professional care with a personal touch. We accomplish this by focusing on both the patient and their family. We will treat the disease process with medical expertise while emphasizing quality living, not only physically, but also psychosocially, emotionally and spiritually. Comfort, compassion and calming presence are the gifts we bring to this service, and we are honored to walk with the patient and loved ones through this special time.

Altus hospice provides care to focus on how a patient lives. We want our patients and their families to live their life fully and on their own terms. Hospice volunteers are privileged to join in this care by adding quality of life through social visits. Volunteers may play games, read books, watch TV, listen to music, help with a scrapbook project, or just sit and talk with their patients. Each volunteer experience looks a little different because each patient is different.
