Who We Are
Drive a Senior is a nonprofit organization that provides free transportation and support services to people 65 and older living in Round Rock, Hutto, Pflugerville, Manor, Elgin, and North, West, South, and East Austin. Our mission is to enable older adults to live independently, avoid social isolation, and age in place by providing volunteer-based transportation and other support services at no cost.
We are the merged result of three older agencies: Chariot, Drive a Senior ATX, and Senior Access.
What We Do
Drive a Senior provides free transportation and other services for older adults. Our volunteers help seniors remain independent in their own homes while receiving transportation and socialization opportunities. This helps our senior population physically, emotionally, and socially allowing them more frequent access to health care, grocery stores, and social outings.
