Who We Are

The HIREDTexas Job Club provides assistance and support in three primary areas:

1) On Tuesday mornings we bring in knowledgeable speakers who are experts in job search and related fields. You get to network with talented peers and learn valuable tips for your career transition.  The meeting begins at 10 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church in Round Rock.  This meeting counts as a contact for unemployment support documentation.

2) Every month we offer classes in a Microsoft Office Suite Product (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) for those who need to brush on up those skills. Students who have previously used these products, or have taken introductory classes elsewhere, have found our training to be more comprehensive than their previous training.

3)  Forums that focus on enhancing job search and acquisition skills (resume writing, interview techniques, LinkedIn, personal branding, etc)  are available, as well as others dealing with finances and health, and networking within your area(s) of interest.  Most are assembled weekly, and all count as contacts for unemployment support documentation.

What We Do

HIREDTexas provides career transition support services for unemployed and underemployed individuals in Central Texas.  This support is provided through learning opportunities, job search assistance, connecting job seekers to area resources, and peer emotional support services.  Our goal is to ensure that no one has to experience this transition alone.
